I was playing GTA V and discovered one of the funniest instances of art imitating life: the in-game social media site called LifeInvader.
The fun part of Lifeinvader is it doesn't try to hide one of the real reasons why people use social media: to stalk people. You can "stalk" people on your Lifeinvader friends list (there is an actual "stalk" button), which is what we do on Facebook anyways in real life. The main difference between Lifeinvader and IRL Facebook is that Lifeinvader tells you straight up how it wants you to use its services.
Check out the website Lifeinvader to go invade some San Andreas citizen's life.
In 1997, I downloaded the most amazing shareware game ever. It was this little gem called "Grand Theft Auto". I eventually talked my dad into taking me to CircuitCity to go buy the CD-ROM. I present to you the original gangster: Grand Theft Auto.
You can still get the original as part of the Grand Theft Auto collection on Steam. That's how I managed to pull this gameplay footage.
